Debbie Milke's first execution date was set for January 29, 1998. The Arizona media scene was confident that it would be just a matter of time (according to published articles in January 1998) to have their first woman since approx. 60 years executed in due time with hardly any public opposition at all. They could not have been more wrong.

The Debbie Milke case has not only captured worldwide attention, but also raised serious doubts within a circle of professional journalists in Arizona as to the legitimacy of the circumstances of her arrest and ultimate conviction.

The kick-off provided an article in the Phoenix Magazine, published in June 1998 and written by Peter Alshire, to be followed by some brief news items on Arizona's TV Channel 3 "KTVK" as well as a few Radio Talk Shows, whose audience was astonished to learn about facts, they haven't heard so far.

Meanwhile, most of the free world and their media agencies have picked up on this case and its apparent inconsistencies.
European news have provided coverage in approx. 30 print media (foremost the renowned Spiegel Magazine), another 20 TV news productions (and ongoing). The concern and its coverage over the Debbie Milke case is unabated throughout the free world and comprises countries like Germany, Great Britain, Ireland, France, Italy, Switzerland, Austria, Skandinavia as a whole, as well as Australia and New Zealand in their best newscasts.

It is awesome, but we also want our audience to understand that none of us are affiliated with any type of "political or any other groupings". Our goal is for the truth to come out, nothing more and nothing less.
