"I want to make a note that some weeks after Christopher was born, my sister Sandy had her baby and, uhm, she ... the apartment that she lived in ... they didn't allow children to live there, so she basically had nowhere to go. Now Mark and I, we let her come and stay with us. We had a two-bedroom house and the second bedroom was actually Christopher's. We let her and her son move into our spare bedroom because she didn't have anywhere to go, so she lived with us after her son was was born which was in November. And she, she lived with us for about, I'd say about a month and a half and so we ended up asking her to leave our house because she stole some money from us ... and, so in the court records - if you read any of them - my sister testified at my trial that she took care of Christopher in the first few weeks of his life, which is not true at all. And what she said, she'd kind of like twisted it, she didn't tell the court that Mark and I allowed her to move into our house after she had her baby. She just said 'yeah, after Chris was born I took care of Chris'. She made it sound like I dumped my child on her, which is absolutely not true." |
